Common Law Admission Test or CLAT is a centralized national examination for admission into twenty-eight National Law Schools in India. It has been used by many top ranking law universities in India including IIT JEE, IIM Bangalore, and LSAT Delhi. Almost all top ranking private and self-funded law schools in India as well also use these tests for online law school admissions in India. The test is conducted after thorough examination of the candidates by the admission authorities at the schools. The test is divided in three parts, which are written as per section of the curriculum. There is nothing special about this exam and it does not carry any weightage in selection of seats for National Law School.
